For those looking for the perfect place to spend the day in the middle of it all, Langostino´s on Los Muertos Beach has become an iconic landmark to see and be seen.
Recently chosen to appear on the Cooking Channel with Katie for Best Beach Bites, Langostino´s is proud to have accomplished so much over the years
With an extensive menu offering breakfast lunch and dinner, many have grown fond of starting their day with a chilled tangy mimosa, delightful eggs benny and wind up staying until sunset. Why? Owner tended to, pet friendly, clean, amazing views of the ocean and Los Muertos Pier, lovely attentive staff to make days ´going solo´ a memorable one, Langostino´s is a second home for many. If you wish to set up base with your towel and suntan lotion but wish to wander, Langostino´s which means crawfish in Spanish is adjacent north to the famous Los Muertos Pier which offers a lovely site and stroll to the end of this massive worldwide known structure, where you can witness pelicans diving, and local kids jumping off of the pier into the most gorgeous of clear waters. Stroll to the end of the beach to join in the local exercise activity at Los Muertos Stairs jogging up the 300 steps into the lush jungle. If water sports are more your style, banana boats, boogie boarding, jet or water ski can be found or if flying high is your thing……….we dare you to parasail. One of the most rewarding investments for those looking to dine out is that proceeds of this restaurant go back into the community. Owner Colette is the founder of the weekly Colina free spay and neuter clinics offering services to low income persons which can bring a lineup of an average of 20 to 30 to animal loving persons every Sunday to her clinic that is located a few minutes inland from Langostino´s. They are constantly seeking permanent volunteers to assist in this so rewarding of an experience.
