How to prepare a Turkey in the Tropics

Preparing a traditional Turkey Dinner in a warm sunny paradise can be challenging if you want everything to taste like ¨Back Home¨ but…………..if you are ready to step out of the box, your Christmas spread will be one none of your guests will forget.

Some people like to soak their turkey in brine a day or two before cooking. A trick that we found deliciously useful is marinating your turkey in Raicilla, Tequila or Mezcal. Let your turkey get a bit of a buzz before the big day and you will be surprised how tender and moist your bird can be.

For the stuffing. Don´t forget to fully clean and empty the inside of your turkey. Nothing like finding a baked bag of giblets when you are excited to get down and dirty with your gravy making.
